Sadaqah Jariyah
Don't give it to us. Give it here.
Free Taleem takes no donations and never will — there is no account number on this site. But if using it made you want to give something, these four are worth far more than a server bill.
Cancer treatment
Shaukat Khanum
Treats deserving cancer patients free of charge in Lahore and Peshawar, with a third hospital opening in Karachi. Takes zakat and sadaqah.
shaukatkhanum.org.pkEmergency and shelter
Edhi Foundation
The world's largest volunteer ambulance service, plus orphanages, shelters for women and children, free kitchens and burials. Runs on ordinary people's donations, not government money.
edhi.orgYour own street
The people already near you
The masjid that needs a fan. The neighbour whose bill is due. The shopkeeper carrying a khata nobody has cleared in months. Charity closest to home is the least advertised.
Orphans and widows
School fees, not just food
A widow raising children alone rarely runs out of ration first — she runs out of school fees. Pay one child's fee for a year and tell no one.
I and the one who cares for an orphan will be in Paradise like this.
Sahih al-Bukhari · 5304
The one who strives for the widow and the poor is like a warrior in the path of Allah.
Sahih al-Bukhari · 5353
